Dynamic Collection with Solid Absorbents
The glass sample vial can be used to trap organics by replacing
the sample with a solid absorbent. In the dynamic collection mode
a gas is used to sweep the sample organics through the solid absorbent
where they become trapped. Syringeless Injection is then used to
thermally extract the trapped organics from the solid absorbent
and into the capillary column.
