Original Paper describing the operation and design of the Syringeless Injector. Some of the examples include, identification of an odor problem from roofing material. Determining the cause of damage to electrical power cables from three different sources, droplets of rodenticide, agricultural chemicals and an oil spill.

Over 120 compounds were detected in recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) by Syringeless Injection, that are not present in Virgin HDPE. Air pollution from Hydrocarbon based fuels appears to be the source of aromatics hydrocarbons in Polyethylene.
